Mark Antony starring Vishal and SJ Suryah among others ended 2023 as one of the blockbusters of the year. For concept based films fighting in a market dominated by massive films with massive stars, a well executed social media campaign can be nothing short of magical. Trend Loud's creative and expansive campaign was instrumental in ensuring the success of Mark Antony.

From the onset, Trend Loud set about crafting a campaign that stirred up excitement while also resonating with the audience. After days of brainstorming and sifting through numerous ideas, the most captivating concepts were handpicked to breathe life to the campaign.



The perfect Influencer treatment for Mark Antony

Trend loud picked influencers who were more aligned with the film's niche. Surendran, a financial influencer, playfully explored how to make money by traveling to the past and buying gold, while the bubbly Saranya Ravichandran, a lifelong fan of Vishal, got to meet her childhood hero unexpectedly, making for a wholesome video.

But the real game changers were, GuySkills, Foodie Findings and Dance Hooksteps with 3 beautiful influencers, all of which did spectacular numbers on Social Media.

GuySkills, who are known for their Dark themes, were chosen to execute two reels with Vishal, one involving the reactions to Silk Smitha and the other where the merits of being a gangster are debated using catchphrases from the film. These videos were on fire, hitting 1.3M views on Instagram and 1.6M views on Facebook in just 6 days.


Foodie Findings, a food vlog channel, posted a video which had an angry Vishal turning into his menacing character from Mark Antony when he is fooled by the influencers with Chicken meat instead of Ostrich meat. Just 6 days after the video hit social media, it reached 785k views.



Aishwarya Kannan, Niyah Krishna, and Swetha Venugopal danced with Vishal for the hooksteps of the Mark Antony's hit song, "I love you di" and the three videos were wildly popular. Aishwarya and Niyah's videos breezed past 2.4M views within 4 days.

Trend Loud's Creations for the film included 3 sketch-style videos for social media as part of Mark Antony’s main promotions.

"Chicken with a twist" was a fun challenge where the film's star Vishal is faced with spicy questions and spicier chicken, an almost impossible choice. The video made 358K views in 4 days.


"Discipline Gangster", a reel that reached 196K Views, involves a womanizer who causes a scene while trying to be a hero, when the real hero, the Discipline Gangster, Vishal shows up to handle him.


"Time Loop" had Vishal turn up and handover the time machine to a stranger with clear instructions to not give it to anyone, but soon an alternate version of Vishal turns up to ask for the machine causing chaos. This drummed up interest in Mark Antony's time travel concept, reaching 212K views in no time.
